State-of-the-art technology is used at SMH to offer a patient-centric care delivery. Our team of cardiologists is committed to work in collaboration with other specialists to provide prompt diagnosis and appropriate care to patients with heart and cardiovascular diseases.
Cardiac catheterization lab: SMH doctors trained in interventional cardiology and other areas have experience performing cardiac catheterization for a variety of heart conditions. SMH cardiologists with expertise in Coronary Intervention, Echocardiography, Heart Failure & Pacemakers provide care for people with coronary artery disease and other heart conditions.
The staff in the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory believes in Proactive approach thereby ensuring efficiency is maintained for appointments, tests and procedures to make the most for their patients. Initially, cardiac care includes non-invasive care services like Outpatient Clinics, Echo and ETT. Available facilities includes a 9-bed Coronary Care Unit connected to a central monitoring system. Other procedures i.e., invasive procedures like angiography and cardiothoracic surgical procedures, shall be offered in the coming months.
Cardiac Surgery – Cardiac Operation theatre supports all types of Cardiac surgeries ranging from Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting, valve repair and replacement, repair and correction of congenital heart defects along with vascular surgeries for both adult and pediatric patients. Cardiac Surgery Service will commence in the near future.
