About the Physician:

Dr. Ahmed Shoaib is a graduate of Allama Iqbal Medical College in 2002. He has been trained in the Trauma & Orthopaedic Departments of King’s College London Hospital and Leicester University Hospital before being appointed to one of the most prestigious Orthopaedic Training programs in Yorkshire, UK. During this time, he was trained at Leeds Teaching Hospital, one of the largest Trauma centers in Europe. On passing FRCS in Trauma & Orthopaedic surgery, he was awarded a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) and also passed the European Board Exam in Orthopaedic Surgery during the same year. He did a one-year super-specialization in Knee surgery at the University of Liverpool Hospital, followed by an appointment as a Consultant in Orthopaedic Surgery, Hip and Knee Replacement in Bradford Teaching Hospital, UK. Moreover, he has got numerous publications and presentations in world-renowned Journals and Forums. Also, he is on UK’s specialist register for Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Shoaib is an Executive Board Member of the Pakistan Arthroplasty (Joint Replacement) Society and a member of the British Orthopaedic Association. He has worked in Shaukat Khanum Hospital Lahore as a Consultant before joining Saleem Memorial Hospital. In addition, he has been appointed as an Examiner for MRCS by the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.  His special interests include Joint Replacements, Revision of failed Joint replacements, Fracture Surgery, Bone Cancer Surgery, and Arthroscopic Knee, and Shoulder Surgery.
