Dr. Taskheer Abbas is a graduate of Allama Iqbal Medical College Lahore, in the year 2004. He has been trained in Radiation Oncology at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, the country's most prestigious Radiation Oncology facility. He gained expertise in the most sophisticated and advanced radiotherapy techniques such as 3-D Conformal Radiotherapy, Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Volumetric Modulated Arc Therapy (VMAT), Image-Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) as well as Gynecologic Brachytherapy. After successfully completing his residency, he went on to work as a Fellow in the Clinical and Radiation Oncology Department SKMCH before joining Saleem Memorial Trust Hospital. His special interests include Breast and Prostate Radiotherapy, Neuro-Oncology, Head and Neck malignancies, and Palliative Radiation.
