About the Physician:

Dr. Kamran Hussain is a neurosurgeon with a distinguished academic and professional career. He completed his graduation from King Edward Medical College in 1984 with a distinction and received several medals. Afterward, he went to the United Kingdom for his surgical and neurosurgical training which he obtained in Plymouth and Manchester. On his return to Pakistan, he set up the neurosurgical department in Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore which is amongst the most modern departments in the country. He has retired as the Chairman of Shaikh Zayed Hospital and Postgraduate Medical Institute and now is in private practice. In addition, he has been the visiting Consultant Neurosurgeon at Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital for the last 26 years. He brings to Saleem Memorial Trust Hospital (SMTH) several decades of experience in the treatment of simple as well as complex neurosurgical issues.
