Shahzad Saleem

Chairman

Mr. Saleem is the Chairman of Nishat Chunian Group. He is the CEO of Nishat Chunian Ltd which is listed on the Pakistan Stock Exchange. Mr. Saleem previously served as Director on the boards of the Punjab Institute of Cardiology, Jinnah Hospital, Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB), and the Board of Trustees of Lahore University of Management Sciences, LUMS. Since graduation, Mr. Saleem has been involved in various philanthropic ventures.Mr. Saleem holds an MBA from LUMS.

Ayesha Shahzad

Ayesha Shahzad is a licensed psychotherapist committed to promoting mental well-being through compassionate and evidence-based therapy. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kinnaird College and brings a unique blend of analytical thinking and empathetic care to her practice. While managing her homemaker responsibilities, she continues providing therapy sessions, helping individuals navigate emotional and psychological challenges. She plays a vital role in fostering a supportive and healing environment within the community.

DR. MOHAMMAD NASEEM KHAN

Dr. Khan is a family physician at Marsh House Medical Practice, UK, and, a Clinical Director at Norton and Billingham Primary Care Network. After completing his basic medical training at James Cook University Hospital, he worked as a Specialist Registrar of Internal Medicine & Nephrology at Nottingham UK. His other roles are training foundation doctors as clinical supervisors and as an appraiser North East England.

MUHAMMAD ZAHID KHAN

Mr. Khan is a Director at TEXCOM, a textile marketing company representing buyers for the purchase of raw materials. Previously, he was General Manager at Gulf Textile Company Limited and was heading the sales, production, and finance divisions. He holds an MBA degree from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS).

NADEEM BABAR

Mr. Babar is a senior executive with extensive worldwide experience in power generation, infrastructure finance, corporate finance, and education. In his career, he has developed, financed, and/or managed over 150 power plants of all commercially available technologies, as well as other energy sector assets.  He has also been involved in social sector development, especially in low-income housing and education.  He has conducted business in 26 countries including most major markets in Asia and Latin America.

SEHAR ADIL

Mrs. Adil is the daughter of the late Sheikh Muhammad Saleem. She oversees the administrative affairs of Nishat High School and is a highly valued member of the organization. She is a strong advocate of community outreach projects and actively contributes to them. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Kinnaird College for Women University, Lahore.

YAHYA SALEEM

Mr. Saleem is the Chairman of YS Group which has offices in the USA, Canada, UAE, and Pakistan. YS Group deals with the sales and marketing of Argi raw materials in Pakistan from across the globe. YS Group represents the largest Argi materials suppliers in the world. He is also the CEO and Director of NC Entertainment Private Limited, which owns two Multiplexes, including the largest multiplex in Pakistan. He sits on the Board of Directors of MCB Bank. Previously he served as Director of Nishat Chunian Limited. Mr. Saleem holds an MBA from (LUMS).

ANEES KHAWAJA

Anees Khawaja is a transformational business leader and Director at Mahmood Group, one of Pakistan’s top textile and export conglomerates. As CEO of MG Apparel and founder of multiple ventures, he has led major initiatives in smart manufacturing, IT, sustainability, and value-chain innovation. Educated at Wharton, LSE, and London Business School, he holds senior roles in national and international organizations, including APTMA, UNICEF, and ICA. He is a strong advocate of women empowerment, youth development, and sustainability—driving projects in organic and regenerative cotton, technology adoption, sports, and social impact initiatives, benefiting communities and industries nationwide.

ANOOSH ZAIN

Anoosh Zain graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan with a degree in Business Administration. She began her career in corporate finance, working with two Fortune 500 companies, where she developed experience in financial planning and strategic analysis.
She is now focused on raising her two children and enjoys traveling and pursuing creative projects in her free time. Anoosh looks forward to contributing her perspective and skills as she joins the Board of Directors at Saleem Memorial Hospital.

MEHAK ADIL

Mehak Adil is a human rights lawyer, dual-licensed in Canada and Pakistan, with expertise in social impact, gender justice, and rights-based education. At the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, she leads civic literacy initiatives. In Pakistan, she co-filed a landmark petition recognizing the right to food and contributed to reforms expanding women’s marital rights. She led the Robin Hood Army in Lahore for seven years, overseeing food distribution and emergency relief. Mehak also organized Saleem Memorial Hospital’s first international fundraising walk to support equitable healthcare. She serves on the Board of Directors of Nishat Mills Limited and holds an LLB and LLM from London School of Economics.
